The return of every Fast & Furious character in Fast X has been confirmed.

The size of Dom Toretto’s family is constantly expanding. Here are all of the confirmed Fast and Furious characters who will appear in Fast & Furious 10, also known as Fast X.

Fast X, the first of a two-part finale for Fast and Furious, has some familiar and brand-new faces. After numerous rumored “one last rides,” it was decided that the franchise’s more than 20-year run would conclude with Fast & Furious 10 and 11. The Fast and Furious franchise has expanded both in scope and cast with each each film, from The Fast and the Furious (2001) to F9 (2021), to the point where Fast X will feature a who’s who of Hollywood big names and be the most expensive Fast and Furious film to date.

Strangely, there wasn’t much of a relationship between the first three Fast and Furious movies’ primary characters, which ranged from two to three. That began to alter when Paul Walker’s Brian O’Conner and Vin Diesel’s Dominic Toretto were reunited in Fast & Furious (2009) alongside the return of Letty, Mia, and Han thanks to a chronological reordering. Fast Five then expanded on the idea of Dom Toretto’s gang and featured cameo appearances from every prior film, including Brian and Tej from 2 Fast 2 Furious and Gisele from Fast & Furious.

From that point on, the Fast and Furious cast continued to grow with each new film, and the majority of the group assembled for Fast Five stayed with the series. In order to star in their own spinoffs, The Rock’s Hobbs and Jason Statham’s Shaw, who were both present up until The Fate of the Furious, left the main series. However, executive producer Vin Diesel quickly replaced them with John Cena as the series’ new action star. Here is a list of every Fast and Furious character who will return for Fast X, including well-known faces and those who only appeared in F9.

Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel)

Dom Toretto, played by Vin Diesel, has served as the franchise’s face for the past 20 years, especially after skipping 2 Fast 2 Furious and only making a brief appearance in Tokyo Drift until making a comeback in Fast & Furious. It comes as no surprise that Dominic Toretto is back in Fast X because of this. One of the reasons Fast and Furious has continued to be popular is Vin Diesel’s star power, and Dom Toretto is in charge of keeping the family together. With his brother Jakob’s comeback in F9, the family themes become even more significant for Toretto, and it will be interesting to watch how that impacts the character moving forward.

Mia Toretto (Jordana Brewster)

One of the original The Fast and the Furious characters who is still present in the series is Mia Toretto. Since the release of Fast & Furious in 2009, Mia has been in every Fast and Furious film with the exception of The Fate and the Furious. F9 witnessed Jordana Brewster’s persona participating in the action, which was a welcome change from her previously scant appearances. Fast & Furious 10 originally didn’t have Mia, according to Vin Diesel, but thankfully the character was inserted back into the plot, and Jordana Brewster will be back for the opening act of the finale.

Letty Ortiz (Michelle Rodriguez)

One of the original characters from The Fast and the Furious is Letty. Similar to Mia, Michelle Rodriguez’s character had her initial appearance in Fast & Furious (2009). She was thought to be dead for the majority of the film before being discovered to be alive at the conclusion of Fast Five. Letty finally got back in touch with Dom Toretto, and they are now married. As one of the main characters of Fast and Furious, Letty is back in Fast X.

Roman Pearce (Tyrese Gibson)

Tyrese’s Roman was originally intended to take the role of Vin Diesel’s Dom in 2 Fast 2 Furious, but after making a comeback in Fast Five, the character developed into his own persona. Roman comes closest to providing comic relief in Fast and Furious, and he is the only one who seems to be aware of how ridiculous their escapades have become. Tyrese’s Roman nearly believed he was acting in a movie in F9, in fact. Even after his conflict with The Rock, Tyrese stayed with the franchise, and Roman is coming back for Fast X.

Han Lue (Sung Kang)

It’s difficult to envision Sung Kan’s character not returning for Fast X after F9 perhaps finally got justice for Han. Since his introduction in Tokyo Drift, Han has been a fan favorite, and as a result, Fast & Furious, Fast Five, and Fast & Furious 6 were all scripted as prequels in order to guarantee Han’s appearance. There were still calls for Han to return to the movies, even after the Fast and Furious timeline caught up with Tokyo Drift, especially when Deckard Shaw grew close to Dom. These calls were heard in F9.

Tej Parker (Ludacris)

Ludacris’ Tej from 2 Fast 2 Furious left a further mark on the Fast and Furious series. Tej, like Roman, made a comeback in Fast Five and hasn’t missed a film since. Along with Ramsey, Tej is the crew’s hacker, and while he longs to have a quiet existence at his own auto repair business, Ludacris’ Fast and Furious character is always willing to assist. Roman and Tej’s exchanges have been a feature of Fast and Furious, and they will continue in Fast X because both actors are coming back.

Little Nobody (Scott Eastwood)

One unexpected Fast X casting news is the return of Scott Eastwood’s “Little Nobody.” The character debuted as Mr. Nobody’s helper in The Fate of the Furious but was gone in F9. Little Nobody’s appearance in Fast X can shed additional light on Kurt Russell’s character Mr. Nobody’s fate because it was unclear what happened to him in Fast 9.

Ramsey (Nathalie Emmanuel)

Despite only being introduced in the middle of Furious 7, Nathalie Emmanuel’s character, Ramsey, has already shown to be a crucial member of the team. Despite not enjoying driving, she is a better hacker than Tej and has remained with Dom and his family. Ramsey will be available to help if Fast X needs help dealing with the God’s Eye MacGuffin in the future.

Jakob Toretto (John Cena)

The most recent member of the Fast and Furious clan is Jakob Toretto, played by John Cena. It was revealed that Jakob was actually Dom and Mia’s long-lost brother, who had come back to exact revenge on Vin Diesel’s persona. Jakob Toretto was atoned for in F9, as has become customary in the Fast and Furious films, and John Cena’s character will make a comeback in Fast X.

Cipher (Charlize Theron)

Dominic Toretto has already caused Charlize Theron’s Cipher’s schemes to fall through twice, but she is ready to try again in Fast X. It’s difficult to predict how significant Cipher will be in the film given that Jason Momoa’s Fast X character will be a villain. Cipher spinoffs have also been discussed.

Buddy (Michael Rooker)

Star of The Suicide Squad and The Guardians of the Galaxy Michael Rooker had a small appearance F9. He portrayed Buddy, a character who subsequently reared Jakob and formerly worked with Jack Toretto. Fast X will feature Michael Rooker again, which suggests that the film may delve more into Dom and Jakob’s background.

Leysa (Cardi B)

Cardi B made a surprise presence in F9. The singer portrayed Leysa, Cara Mirtha’s sister in the film Fast & Furious (2009). Leysa, who was dispatched to save Dom by Magdalene Shaw played by Helen Mirren, will undoubtedly make a reappearance in Fast X.
