Triple H Makes an Important Announcement!
Big news came this week when Triple H, aka Paul Levesque, now WWE Chief Content Officer, announced that the WarGames will be part of the Survivor Series this November, marking the first time ever that this match concept will be used in a WWE main roster event.
And The Game also focused on the dangers the facility could pose to athletes, and how they will be addressed. The WarGames concept is a former WCW staple, which was resurrected in 2017 at NXT, with several contests taking place in this format over the following years.
The match that bears this name takes place inside a huge cage, which surrounds two rings side by side. Two teams – typically four or five wrestlers – take turns at the entrance to the facility at regular intervals during the match to battle for gold.
After revealing the WarGames, Triple H expressed his thoughts on the possibility that this time too we will see blood or not, in what has historically been a night almost always tinged with bright red.
