Backstage Update on Brock Lesnar’s WWE Status!

Brock Lesnar’s last WWE appearance was on July 30, 2022, the day The Beast was defeated by current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. The plans, from the beginning, included the victory of the Tribal Chief, to once again elevate his status as the undisputed and undefeated champion.

Since then, Lesnar hasn’t been seen in WWE again and would remain so until Day One in 2023, as per contract. However, things could change in the near future.

Latest news on Brock Lesnar

Ringside News was informed by a fairly important member of the WWE creative team that Goldberg will not be the elite name in Saudi Arabia (as reported a few days ago in this article) but Brock Lesnar will be the top name present at Crown Jewel.

Obviously these are just rumors and such should be taken but from the importance of the name of this person the news could hardly prove to be wrong but a small percentage is there. At the moment we do not know who will be his future opponent.

It definitely won’t be Roman Reigns, busy defending his titles from Logan Paul’s attack. There have been several names, not very credible, to go against The Beast Incarnate; among these there is also the name of Omos, the Nigerian giant, but at the moment it is only a utopian name of the many that have recently come out.

On social media, fans went wild, some of them even came to think of a possible Triple Threat with the surprise addition of Lesnar in the dispute between Reigns and Paul, but hardly the WWE, especially with the advent of Triple H, will propose for the umpteenth time a match titled with Lesnar and Reigns present in the meeting.

Crown Jewel is still several weeks away and therefore there is still time to see how the story around Brock Lesnar will develop, but rumors of his presence at the event in Saudi Arabia are becoming more and more insistent.

Former United States Champion Happy Corbin recently commented on whether he has ever considered working with Brock Lesnar in WWE. Current SmackDown Superstar Happy Corbin recently hosted a Q&A session on Twitter. When a fan asked him about possibly working with Brock Lesnar, he said he would definitely consider it, but the decision is not up to him.

“Not my choice but defn [definitely] would,” wrote Corbin. Reigns got the victory with the help of The Usos after Lesnar lopsided the ring with a bulldozer.
